PENNY O. SAWYER
Penny Onell Sawyer, 70, died Thursday morning at Britthaven of Goldsboro.
Funeral services will be held privately.
She is survived by two sons, Brian Thompson of Fayetteville and Bennie Ireland of Virginia Beach, Va.; one daughter, Lisa Thompson of Goldsboro; three sisters, Arlene Kirk and Mildred Ormond of Belhaven, and Katie Lewis of Aurora; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo and Mary Frances Williams Sawyer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to one's favorite charity.
