LAWRENCE CHESTNUT
The funeral for Lawrence Eugene Chestnut will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of McIntyre Funeral Home. Bishop D.L. McIntrye will officiate.
Mr. Chestnut was born in Wayne County and was the son of Lawrence Lee Chestnut of Goldsboro, the late Minnie Bell Smith Chestnut, and Carrie Hamilton of the home. He attended Wayne County Schools and was employed by Goldsboro Housing Authority for many years.
He also is survived by two sons, Javonnie Langston and Darius Chestnut of Goldsboro; five daughters, Lakeishia Langston, Keeda Darden, Minisha Chestnut, LaToya Whitfield of and Shereen Lanier of Dudley; and five sisters, Teresa Davis, Shelvie Weeks, Shirley Weeks, Delilah Johnson of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Nicole Williams of Norfolk, Va.
The viewing will be from 2 until 6 p.m. Monday at McIntyre Funeral Home, and the family will be present from 6 until 7.
