JOYCE ANN LAUGHLIN
Joyce Ann Laughlin, 68 of 16940 Timberlake Dr. Ft. Myers, Florida, died Sunday at her daughter's residence in Tucson, Ariz., from complications of Parkinson Disease.
She was formerly of Goldsboro and received a degree in nursing from Wayne Community College. She had worked as a licensed practical nurse at Wayne Memorial Hospital and also had been employed as a real estate broker in Goldsboro. After moving to Ft. Myers, she joined The Church of the Resurrection of Ft. Myers, Fla., and became a member of the church choir.
She was born in Burlington, Vt., and was the daughter of the late Richard and Catherine Collier Barnes.
Survivors include her husband, Warren C. Laughlin; one daughter Mrs. John (Jody) McNabb of Tucson, Arizona; one son Thomas Lafave of Goldsboro; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Jim (Lou Ann) Latham and Mrs. Larry (Connie) Kammler both of Goldsboro; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Geraldine) Roberge of Burlington, Vt., and Mrs. Martha Wyatt of Hendersonville; one brother, Frances Barnes of Burlington, Vt., and eight grandchildren,
She was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Barnes, and one sister, Mary Burnes.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana with Dr. Louis Cosentino officiating. Burial will be in Columbiana Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 until 9 p.m. Friday at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana, Ohio.
