MARGARET A. HERRING
Mrs. Margaret Ann Herring, 63, of 1005 Harris St., died Wednesday in Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Goldsboro, June 25, 1941, to Daisy Greene Robinson and the late Tommie Herring.
She was a 1959 graduate of Dillard High School and the College of Human Services in New York. She retired from PS 289 School in New York in 2003.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 1 p.m. at St. Luke Disciples of Christ Church in Goldsboro. The Rev. David Williams will officiate. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
She is survived by her mother, Daisy G. Robinson of Goldsboro; and two sisters, Thelma Gooding of Havelock and Marjorie Watson of Raleigh.
A viewing will be held today from 3 until 9 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends at the home of her mother, Daisy Robinson, 413 East Spruce Street.
