KENLY -- The funeral for Hazel Hooks Cone, 76, of Florida, formerly of Kenly, will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Coley Funeral Home. Burial will be in Kenly Cemetery
Mrs. Cone died Saturday in Florida.
She was a native of Johnston County and was the daughter of the late Harvey and Bertha Barnes Hook. She was a member of Fremont Church of God.
Her survivors include one daughter, Martha Harrison of Florida; a sister, Doris Roper of Kenly; three brothers, Ray Hooks of Florida, Selly Hooks of Raleigh and Joe Hooks of Wendell; and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Coley Funeral Home.
