WALTER EVERETT
CHAPEL HILL -- Walter Bert Everett, 84, brother of JR Everett of Goldsboro, died Tuesday at home.
Other survivors include his wife, Annie Hogan Everett of Chapel Hill; a daughter, Laura Hill of Chapel Hill; another brother, Carlton Everett of Farmville; two sisters, Nancy Huggins of Wilmington and Lillian Gardner of Maysville; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Everett worked at the University of North Carolina in the maintenance department for over 20 years. He was a member of the New Hope Volunteer Fire Department and Masonic Lodge #408 in Chapel Hill.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at North Chapel Hill Baptist Church, Hwy. 86 N, in Chapel Hill.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the North Chapel Hill Baptist Church.
