ROBERTA E. MILLARD
Mrs. Roberta "Ma Bert" Millard, 84, of 1911 Cooke St. died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A Homegoing Service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Elm Grove Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, Pikeville, with Pastor Robby Millard and Pastor K.D. Vaughn officiating. Interment will be at Wayne Memorial Park, Goldsboro.
Mrs. Millard is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, William Jr. and Pecolia Millard of Stantonsburg, Jack and Bertha Millard of Stantonsburg and Maryland and Helen Ransome of Goldsboro; two grandsons whom she reared, Robby and Kimberly Millard of Pikeville and Steven and Wendy Millard of Goldsboro; four daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and Herbert Jones of Durham, Carrie Frances and Melvin (Bobby) Cox of Goldsboro, with whom she lived, Effie and Freddie Dees of Goldsboro and Lila and James McHenry of Columbia, S.C.; two special children, Bill and Carol Lane of Goldsboro; five foster children, Verna Core and Lawyer Horton of Dudley, Dollie Mozingo of Goldsboro, Mattie Artis and Carrie Horton of Pikeville; 39 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elder Viola Exum of Goldsboro and Sarah Millard of Pikeville; one brother, James L. and Carrie Exum of Goldsboro; a special niece, Carrie Brooks of Orange, N.J.; special friends, Annie Ruth Fuller of Goldsboro and Robert Leftwrick of Goldsboro; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at 1911 Cooke St., Goldsboro, following the burial.
