RUBY WEST
Ruby Ingram West, of 150 Community Drive, died Saturday.
She was born in Wayne County to the late Needham Bud and Rosa Woodard Ingram. She was the wife of the late Charles Worth West Sr. and was also preceded in death by a son, Charles Worth West Jr. She was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church.
The funeral will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home in Princeton with the Reverend Rose Hicks officiating. The graveside service will be private.
Mrs. West is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Rosa West Thompson and husband, Al, of Goldsboro; daughter-in-law, Linda West of Knobnoster, Missouri; sister, Ruth Creech of Princeton; brothers, Ralph K. Ingram of Raleigh and Raymond W. Ingram of Milford, New Jersey; a special grandson, Alan Worth Hines; and three granddaughters, Heather Schroader, Stephanie R. West and Kelly A. West.
Although flowers are welcome, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Ebenezer Church.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service tonight.
