DORIS L. JONES
SEVEN SPRINGS -- Doris Matilda Langley Jones, 76, of 300 Spring St., died Sunday at Britthaven of Smithfield.
Mrs. Jones was born in Lancaster County, South Carolina, to the late Heyward and Neva Langley. She was wife of the late Harold Ray Jones and was a member of Seven Springs United Methodist Church. After raising her children, she worked as a home caregiver until her sickness.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home with the Reverends Ashley Summerlin, William Rudd and Terry Hobbs officiating. Interment will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Seven Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones is survived by four children, Freda Jones, Shorty Jones and wife, Kathy, Jean White and husband, Dave, and Ronnie Jones, all of Seven Springs; seven sisters, Mary, Glendora, Arleda, Tupy, Brenda, Eunice and Diane, all of Pageland, S.C.; three brothers, Buck, George and Leonard, all of Pageland, S.C.; and 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday night following the service, and other times at the home of Dave and Jean White, 4413 Indian Springs Road, Seven Springs.
Arrangements are with Rouse Funeral Home, LaGrange.
