GRACE B. CARTER
Grace Bell Carter, 68, of Mary Gran Nursing Center, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home. The Rev. Larry King will officiate.
Mrs. Carter was a native of Sampson County and was the daughter of the late James Eddie Bell and Amanda George Bell and was the widow of I.J. Carter. She was a homemaker and was a member of Mount Gilead Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Faye Best of Mount Olive; two sons, Ray Carter of Youngsville and Bobby Carter of Clinton; a sister, Eloise Bass of Clinton; and four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service tonight, and other times at the home of Bobby and Sarah Carter, 576 Byrd Yancey Road, Clinton.
