LEONA G. STANCIL
KENLY -- Leona Garner Stancil, 84, died Sunday.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with the Rev. Leslie Parrish officiating. Entombment will be at a later date.
Mrs. Stancil was born in Johnston County to the late George W. and Mamie Long Garner. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Kuther D. Stancil; a daughter, Trudie S. Massey of Kenly; two sisters, Ruth Garner Stancil of Clayton and Gracie Garner Creech of Selma; and a grandson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the funeral service
