NINA H. SWINSON
CALYPSO -- Nina Harris Swinson, 75, of 217 S. Center St., died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.
Born in Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Addie Vernon Dail and wife to the late Atwood Harris and Otis Swinson. She was retired from Mt. Olive Pickle Company and was a member of Calypso Baptist Church.
Memorial services will be held Monday at 6 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ken Powell officiating.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia and Gene Hines, Ann and John Howell all of Calypso and Pam and Larry Riggle of Mount Olive; two brothers and sister-in-law, E.H. "Cricket" and Melba Dail of Mount Olive and Don Dail of New Bern; a sister and brother-in-law, Effie and Carroll Cook of Mount Olive; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and her beloved pet, "Peanut."
The family will receive friends Monday evening immediately following the memorial service at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home of Goldsboro and at other times at the home, 217 S. Center St., Calypso.
