MOUNT OLIVE -- Earnest W. Cox, 75, of 210 Johnson St., died Tuesday.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Piney Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Grifton. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Cox is survived by one daughter, Linda Faye Cox Daniels of Voorhees, N.J.; four sons, Donald Cox of Queens, N.Y., James Cox of Mount Olive, Jacob Cox of Newark, N.J., and Ronald Cox of Hinesville, Ga.; one sister, Mary Catherine Starkey of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the church during the two hours prior to the funeral.
