MARY CAPPS
CLINTON -- Mary Peace Fann Capps, 72, formerly of Clinton, died Saturday at Sunrise Senior Living Center, Raleigh.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Calvary Tabernacle Church in Salemburg with the Rev. Larry J. Smith, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Capps was a native of Sampson County and was the daughter of the late Lebron Quincy Fann and Olivia Spell Fann. She attended Calvary Tabernacle Church and was a homemaker.
Surviving are three sons, Gary Wayne Capps of Wilmington, Jeffrey Alan Capps of Clayton and Christopher Stephen Capps of Clinton; four sisters, Madeline Barnes of Clinton, Willa Dean Daughtry of Goldsboro, Virginia Lambert of Clinton and Frances Cannady of Clinton; and five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home and other times at 931 Basstown Road, Clinton.
