JOHNNIE BALLANCE SR.
FREMONT -- Johnnie Clee Ballance Sr., 53, died Sunday at his home.
He was born on June 21, 1950, in Wilson County and was the son of Esther Jones Ballance of Fremont and the late Howard Odell Ballance.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Trina Chase and her husband, Chris, of Selma and Crystal Ballance of Goldsboro; one son, J.C. Ballance Jr. of Kenly; sisters, Marie, Connie, Debbie and Terry Ballance and Rose Wilson and her husband, Gary; brothers, Tony Ballance and Raymond Ballance and his wife, Brenda; and three grandchildren.
A gathering to celebrate his life will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Shackleford Funerals and Cremations, 102 N. Pine St., Fremont. Burial will follow in Ballance Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 8:30 at the funeral home, and other times at the home of Raymond and Brenda Ballance.
