JULIA LANGLEY
Julia Clyde Gurley Langley, 83, of Princeton, died Wednesday at the Brian Center in Goldsboro.
The funeral will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rose Hicks officiating. Interment will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Langley was a native of Wayne County and was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Emmitt Gurley and Virginia Crocker Gurley and the widow of Willie Bryant Langley Jr.
She is survived by four daughters, Susan Grantham of Grantham, Becky Lane of Kinston, Linda Westbrook-Best of Goldsboro and Teresa Richardson and husband, Dennis, of Princeton; one sister, Edna Thomas of Pikeville; one brother, Emmitt Cooper "E.C." Gurley of Jacksonville, FL; and 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Lonnie Glenn Gurley.
The family will greet friends at Seymour Funeral Home following the funeral on Friday night, and other times at the residence, 226 Damon Drive, Princeton.
