NEWTON GROVE -- Bobbie Lou Warren, 79, died today.
The funeral will be held Wednesday night at 7:30 at Pleasant Union Christian Church. The Rev. Joe Wingfield will officiate. Burial will be on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Warren was preceded in death by her husband, Richard O. Warren Sr., and is survived by a son, Richard O. Warren Jr. of Newton Grove; a brother, John A. Martin Jr. of Fayetteville; two sisters, Rebecca Stone of Springfield, Va., and Clara Dale Hairr of Charleston, S.C.; and two grandchildren and one great-grandson.
The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the funeral on Wednesday night.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pleasant Union Christian Church, P.O. Box 1, Newton Grove, N.C. 28366.
