DOROTHY M. GREEN
Dorothy Markle Green, 67, of 6005 Meadow Lane, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Green was born in Coatsville, Pa., on Feb. 8, 1937 to the late George Donald and Sara Taylor Markle. She attended The Word Church and was a former nurse and a volunteer with WECAN.
She is survived by three sons, Charles R. Green of Goldsboro, Billy Green of Washington, D.C., and Charles Edward "Skip" Green of Grantham; five daughters, Laura Taylor and husband, Willie, of Augusta, Ga., Betty Barnes and Sara H. Green of Goldsboro, and Teresa Evans and Evelyn Hegenn of Philadelphia, Pa.; one brother, George Donald Markle of Fairfax, Va.; one sister, Ann Aberts and husband, George Daniels, of Coatsville, Pa.; eight grandchildren; a special friend, Edna Hester; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1 until 2 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.
