FAYETTEVILLE -- Nellie Evans, 67, of 5234 Madonna Lane died Thursday at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Funeral will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church with the Rev. Aaron Johnson and the Rev. David Franklin officiating. Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the residence.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Evans; two daughters, Danita Williams of Fayetteville and Jeanine Cogman of Cleveland, Ohio; three sons, Donald King of Costa Mesa, Calif., Maxaminneo King of Fayetteville and Rico Evans of Charleston, S.C.; one brother, Harvey King of East Arcadia; one sister, Wyomio Walker of Reinzi, Mass.; and three grandchildren.
