BILL BUNN
DUDLEY -- Lorenzo Wilton "Bill" Bunn Jr., 77, died Monday.
Born in Zebulon, he was the son of the late Lorenzo W. and Bertha Mae Clark Bunn. He was a member of the Zebulon Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served for 22 years. After retirement he became a long-distance truck driver for 20 years. He was a lifetime member of both the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Bunn is survived by his wife of 50 years, Charlotte L. Bunn, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the graveside service.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home.
