WILLIAM OUTLAW

William Earl Outlaw, 76, of 211 Forest Knolls Road, died Tuesday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston.

The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Alan Lamm officiating. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.

Mr. Outlaw was a native of Duplin County and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was the son of the late Leon H. Outlaw and Beulah Mae Whitman Outlaw and was married to the late Jean Potter Outlaw. He retired as a mechanic with the North Carolina Forest Services and was a member of St. John Free Will Baptist Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Linda Shipman of Seven Springs and Debby Coffey and Paula Lane of Goldsboro; one son, Glenn Outlaw of Goldsboro; two sisters, Evelyn O. Sutton of Goldsboro and Nellie O. Guy of Calypso; one brother, Emmette Outlaw of Mount Olive; and seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Paula Lane, 708 Ditchbank Road, Goldsboro.
