CARRIE PERRY
Carrie Lee Perry died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Thurs-day at 1 p.m. at Elm Grove Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, with the Rev. Ken-neth Vaughn officiating. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
Mrs. Perry was born on March 21, 1917, to the late James "Jim" and Sallie Jones. She joined Elm Grove Church at an early age. After moving to Philadelphia, she joined New Temple Baptist Church. After retirement she moved her membership back to Elm Grove, where she was a faithful member until her health failed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Perry, and is survived by one daughter, Mary Louise Jones of the home, a son-in-law, Leander Jones Sr. of Maryland; 11 grandchildren, Milton Jones of Washington, D.C., Elderess Cynthia Jarman (Pastor Aaron) of LaGrange, Ingrid Lemons of Lawrenceville, Ga., Leander Jones Jr. of Accokeek, Md., Gwendolyn Jones of District Heights, Md., Michael Ray Jones of Raleigh, Teresa Jones of the home, Carrie Brown (Willie) of Austell, Ga., Andrea Jones of District Heights, Md., Ronnie Jones of Stone Mountain, Ga., and Cheryl Edwards of Austell, Ga.; and 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 7 today at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries.
