JOHN COLLINS
WILSON -- John Willard Collins, 80, died Saturday.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Joyner's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
He is survived by one daughter, Debra Pierce of Elm City; five sons, Bobby Gene Collins of Dudley, John Luther Collins of Elm City, Carl Ray Collins of Wilson, Willard Richard Collins of Goldsboro and James Earl Collins of Rock Ridge; one sister, Frances Denton of Wilson; two stepdaughters, Lois Fuller and Betty Lou Griffin of Macclesfield; two stepsons, Larry A. Dunn and Mike A. Dun of Macclesfield; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Joyner's Funeral Home, 4100 264-A West, and other times at 615 Cobb Road, Elm City.
