PHILLIP COLEY
Alvin Phillip Coley, 62, died Monday, March 15, at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the House of Prayer in Dudley. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. Coley was the son of the late James Milford and Mary Anna Coley of Goldsboro. He retired from Dewey Bros. Inc. in 1996 and had been employed with Pizza Inn for over 16 years. He was a faithful member of the House of Prayer in Dudley.
He is survived by his wife, Angie (Ann) Coley of the home; one son, Alvin P. Coley Jr. of LaGrange, and his fiancee, Shominique Lynch; three daughters, Tanya (Niko) Forbes of Dudley, Rosemary Coley of Goldsboro, Phyllis (Candi) Manley of Goldsboro; two sons-in-law, Sedric Manley of Goldsboro and Jesse Forbes of Dudley; one brother, Allen K. Coley (Willie Bee) of Walstonburg; one sister, Catherine Taylor (Mert) of Goldsboro; 12 grandchildren, Angela Sheard, Tiffany Long, Tammy Sheard, Anthony Coley, Denise Coley, Walter Coley, Ta´Marcus Sheard, Alonza Sheard, Britney Manley, Alyssa Manley, Calvin Coley and Kevin Coley; seven brothers-in-law, six sisters-in-law; his best friends, Billy Seaberry of Goldsboro and James Grice of Dudley; and numerous aunts and uncles and other relatives and friends.
The viewing hours will be from 2 until 7 p.m. on Saturday at McIntyre Funeral Home Ministries, and the family will be there to receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m.
