CHRISTINE LEONARD
WARSAW -- The funeral for Christine Herring Leonard, 92, of 108 Victoria St., will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Mount Zion Holiness Church. The Rev. Lorenzo Simmons will officiate. Burial will be in Sandhill Cemetery in Clinton.
Mrs. Leonard died Sunday at Sampson Regional Medical Center.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary E. Henry of Philadelphia, Pa., and Barbara Jean Batchelor of Warsaw; two sons, Paul Leonard of Winston-Salem and David E. Leonard of Springfield, Mass.; and 25 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 7 today at Garris Funeral Home in Mount Olive, and from 1 until 2 p.m. at the church on Saturday.
