Patricia Ann Smith Howell, 58, of 2367 Hwy. 13 North died Monday afternoon at home.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Howell was born in Wayne County to the late Leo and Hattie Bell Sauls Smith. She retired from the County of Wayne, having worked at the Recycling Plant.
She is survived by her husband, Bennie Howell Jr.; one son and daughter-in-law, Anthony "Andy" Leo and Faye Smith of Goldsboro; two daughters and a son-in-law, Pamela Howell Killette of Goldsboro and Denise H. and James Marlowe of Goldsboro; two brothers, Carroll Smith of Tampa, Fla., and James Edward Smith of Goldsboro; one sister, Linda Bartlett of Goldsboro; and six grandchildren, Amber Grady, Ashley Smith, Tabitha Smith, Kristian Marlowe, Trenton Marlowe and Jaden Marlowe.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Jean Nichols.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the funeral on Wednesday night.
