NANCY S. BEST
LAGRANGE -- Nancy Sugg Best, 95, formerly of 1361 New Hope Road, died Tuesday at Britthaven of Goldsboro.
She was born in Lenoir County to the late Luther and Bertie Hill Sugg. She was wife of the late Kimber Best and was preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Best Pearce.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Rouse Funeral Home with the Rev. T.C. West officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Best is survived by a son, Max Best of Goldsboro; a son-in-law, Dan Pearce of LaGrange; a sister, Dorothy Byrd of LaGrange; four grandchildren, Claudia Best, Amanda Best, Jason Pearce and Charlie Pearce; and a great-grandchild, Garrett.
The family will receive friends at the home of Max Best, 1178 Millers Chapel Road, Goldsboro.
