JOHN E. ROYAL
The funeral for John E. Royal will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Church of Christ. Bishop Alton Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mr. Royal is survived by two sons, Edward Royal of Goldsboro and Alphonsa Royal of Durham; two daughters, Gloria R. Stevenson of Goldsboro and Kathy Jeanette of New Bern; and seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday night from 7 until 8 at Lightner Memorial Funeral Home.
