J. WILLIAM BROWN
KENANSVILLE -- Jesse William "Bill" Brown, 61, died Friday at his home.
He was a native of Lenoir County, a U.S. Army veteran, and the owner of Brown's Service Center in Kenansville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Winifred Sue Brown, and his father, Charlie Bruce Brown.
Surviving are his mother, Bernice Williams Brown of Kenansville; three sons, Jesse Herbert "Buck" Brown and companion Tammy Frederick, Charles Allen Brown and William Anthony Brown of Kenansville; and three grandchildren, William Nicholas Brown, Katlyn Sue Brown and Ty Garret Brown.
The funeral will be held today at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Community Funeral Home in Warsaw. The Rev. Rick Howell will officiate. Burial will be in Golden Grove Cemetery in Kenansville.
The family received friends on Saturday night from 7 until 9 at the funeral home, and other times at the residence.
