CLIFTON E. SMITH JR.
PIKEVILLE -- Clifton Earl Smith Jr., 51, of Wilbert Lane, died Monday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
The funeral services will be held on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. The Rev. William Barber II will officiate.
Mr. Smith was a native of Wayne County. He attended Tabernacle of Prayer For All People and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He is survived by his mother, Arthenia Jackson Smith of Goldsboro; two sons, Eric and Derrick of Dudley; three sisters, Helen Melton, Patricia Smith, and Lisa Mason of Goldsboro; four brothers, Jimmy Smith and Jaurl Smith of Goldsboro, Timmy Smith of Snow Hill, and Jackie Smith of Virginia Beach, Va.; and nieces, great-nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clifton Earl Smith Sr.
The family will receive friends at Howell Funeral Home following the service on Sunday, and other times at the home of Arthenia Smith at 2101 North William St., Apt # 216.
