MOLLIE PARKER
LAGRANGE -- Mollie Olivia White Parker, 82, of 208-A East King St., died today at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
She was born in Jones County to the late Robert Lee White and Maud Amyette White. She was wife of the late William Andrew Parker Jr. and was retired from the cafeteria at Woodington Middle School.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Rouse Funeral Home, with the Rev. Henry Seymour officiating. Burial will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Parker is survived by two daughters, Angela Barwick and husband, Tom, of LaGrange, Catherine Langston and husband, Steve, of Goldsboro; two sons, Dennis Parker and wife, Linda, of LaGrange, W.A. Parker and wife, Jenny, of Deep Run; a sister, Maud Parker of Trenton; seven grandchildren, Michael Barwick, David Barwick, Kevin Barwick, Heather Langston, Tim Parker, Melissa Parker and Andrew Parker; nine great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Sophia King.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Rouse Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Barwick, 3406 Frank Barwick Road, LaGrange.
