ERNON HOWELL
RALEIGH -- Ernon Edwards Howell, 83, a native of Princeton, died Wednesday after a lengthy illness.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Catherine McDuffie Howell; son, Michael Howell of Raleigh; daughters, Pamela Speight and Judy Olive of Apex; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 7 until 9 at Brown- Wynne Funeral Home on St. Mary's Street.
The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, February 15, at First Presbyterian Church in Raleigh. Entombment will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Memorial donations may be made to "Visions of Tomorrow" at First Presbyterian Church.
