MINNIE JORDAN
Minnie Woodard Jordan, 88, died Wednesday at Westchester Manor in High Point.
The funeral will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Pine Forest United Methodist Church with the Rev. Larry Crane officiating. Burial will be in the White Oak Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Lucama.
Mrs. Jordan was a native of Wayne County, was the daughter of the late Hillary Melvin Woodard and Emma Delissa Hooks Woodard and was the widow of Harvey Jordan. She worked as a licensed practical nurse before retiring. She was a member of Pine Forest United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.
She is survived by a son, Edward Hooks Jordan of Goldsboro; a daughter, Rebecca Jordan Saunders of Trinity; and eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death this week by her son, Harvey Leland Jordan.
Memorial donations may be made to Pine Forest United Methodist Church, 867 NC Hwy. 581 South, Goldsboro, N.C., 27530.
The family will receive friends today from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
