LILLIE W. MILLS
VANCEBORO -- Lillie Mae Wayne Mills, 87, died Monday.
A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Celestial Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Mills was a native of the Vanceboro community and was the widow of Willie J. Mills. She was a homemaker and a seamstress and she attended Juniper Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Willie J. Mills Jr. of Vanceboro; three daughters, Hilda M. Batchelor of Rich Square, Cynthia M. Potter of Kenansville and Joyce M. Coleman of Winterville; a sister, Evelyn W. Andrews of Dudley; two brothers, Guy Wayne of Germany and Bobby Wayne of Prince George, Va.; and five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
