RUBY FISHER
SEVEN SPRINGS -- The funeral for Ruby Fisher, 78, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Best Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. William Waters will officiate. Burial will be in Floyd Cemetery.
Mrs. Fisher died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late John and Sallie Barnett Floyd and was a retired dietitian.
Surviving are her husband, Claudie Fisher of the home; two sons, Giles Fisher of Bronx, N.Y., and Ronald Fisher of Dudley; five daughters, Janice Goodson, Regina Fisher, Wendy Fisher and Marva Fisher of New York and Ruby Fisher of the home; and nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 7 p.m. today at Garris Funeral Home in Mount Olive.
The family will receive friends at the residence at 4063 Arrington Bridge Road.
