Griffin-Wilkins
Amber Holt Griffin and Jeffrey Lynn Wilkins exchanged vows in a celebration of covenant love Nov. 26, 2017, at Dulany’s Overlook in Frederick, Md., with Steve Miller officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Beverly Holt Anderson (Herb) and Dennis Lee Griffin (Vicky) of Goldsboro and the granddaughter Lesly and Rosa Lee Holt of Princeton and the late Allen and Ruby Griffin of Goldsboro.
She is employed as the head of the English department and teacher at Mount Airy Christian Academy in Mount Airy, Md.
The groom is the son of Neal and Chiyong Wilkins of Columbia, Md.
He is employed as an engineer at The Whiting-Turner Contracting Co. in Greenbelt, Md.
The bride was escorted by her brother, Clifton Griffin, and given in marriage by her family.
Jackie Kahler served as maid of honor, while bridesmaids were Sue Ellen Cain, Grace Chaisson, Cree Menefee and Gloriel Taylor.
James Wilkins, brother of groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jake Hubbard, Andy Severt, Eric Simpson and Justin Wilkins, brother of groom.
Annabel Wilkins, niece of the groom, was flower girl. Garrision Griffin, nephew of the bride, was ringbearer. Scripture readers were Gideon and Gauge Griffin, nephews of the bride.
A reception was held at The Barn at Dulany’s Overlook.
A rehearsal dinner was held at The Gathering Place in Clarksville, Md., hosted by the family of the groom.
Other events included a household shower hosted by friends and family of the couple at the home of Linda Kahler of Clarksville, Md., and a North Carolina pig pickin’-style celebration hosted by family of the bride for the couple at Saint Paul United Methodist Church in Goldsboro.
