Coley-Bradshaw
Brittney Nicole Coley and Brent Austin Bradshaw exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Dec. 7, 2013, at 4:30 p.m. at Mount Olive First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Mount Olive, with pastor Jeffrey Dail officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Coley Jr. of Mount Olive and the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Durwood King of Mount Olive and Mr. James Coley and the late Audrey Coley of Faison.
The bride is a 2008 honor graduate of North Duplin High School and a 2012 cum laude graduate of East Carolina University with a degree in exercise physiology. She is employed as an exercise specialist at Lenoir Memorial Cardiac Rehab and Minges Wellness Center.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Bradshaw of Faison and the grandson of Mrs. Brunetta Bradshaw and the late Gene Bradshaw of Faison and Mrs. Dorothy Price and the late Charles Price of Faison.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of North Duplin High School. He is the owner and operator of RGB Farms and B and B Spreading, and works with his dad's business, Bradshaw Construction.
The bride was escorted by her father and presented in marriage by her parents.
The bride wore an Allure satin back taffeta dress patterned with asymmetrical ruches all over. Its bodice with overlap ruches had a sweetheart neckline and a laced-up back. The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet consisting of heirloom and collectible broaches. White miniature callas and hydrangeas were entwined around the broaches.The stems were adorned with black diamond wrap.
Jenny Coley Sasser, twin sister of the bride, was her maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Casey Pate Braswell, friend of the bride, Heather Rose Hudson, friend of the bride, Kylie Bradshaw Kornegay, sister of the groom, Bridgette Bradshaw Smith, sister of the groom, Ashley Kelly Stevens, cousin of the bride, Kathryn Olivia Swinson, cousin of the bride, and Brooke Kelly Whitfield, cousin of the bride.
Honorary bridesmaids were Natalie Goodman, cousin of the groom, and Stacy Carter Hadzijahic, Caitlin Hunt, Melissa Carter Lewis and Megan Sinclair all cousins of the bride.
Gary Austin Bradshaw, father of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Bradley Bradshaw, cousin of the groom, Andrew Hollingsworth, friend of the groom, Dusten Jolly, friend of the groom, Robbie Kelly, friend of the groom, Evan Kornegay, nephew of the groom, Matthew Sasser, friend of the couple, Brandon Sutton, friend of the groom, and Ryan Tillman, friend of the groom.
Ushers were Robbie Brogden, friend of the groom, and Anthony Smith, brother-in-law of the groom.
Flower girl was Alexa Smith, niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Tanner Kornegay, nephew of the groom.
Mrs. Nikki Ennis and Ms. Rebekah Nassef, cousins of the bride, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register were Karen Best and Alonna Pate, friends of the bride. Program attendants were Perri Caroline Ennis and Alexis Lewis, cousins of the bride.
A program of wedding music was provided by Randy Cashwell, vocalist; Hunter Brock, musician; Mike Brock, musician; Jerry Goodman, musician; and Jerry Strickland, musician.
The reception was held at the Country Squire in Warsaw, N.C. Guests were greeted by Mr. and Mrs. Bradley King, uncle and aunt of the bride. Mrs. Rose Hudson and Mrs. Teresa Swinson, family of the bride, served wedding cake.
After a honeymoon to St. Lucia, the couple will reside at 260 Bradshaw Crow Road in Faison, N.C., 28341.
A rehearsal dinner hosted by parents of the groom was held at Ribeyes in Mount Olive, N.C.
Events held before the wedding included a miscellaneous bridal shower given by family of the bride and groom Oct. 6, 2013, at Calypso Baptist Church; a bachelor party given by friends of the groom in Myrtle Beach, S.C., Oct. 25 through 27, 2013; a miscellaneous bridal shower given by friends of the bride Nov. 7, 2013, at the home of Ms. Bernadette Cook; a miscellaneous bridal shower given by the ladies of Rones Chapel United Methodist Church Nov. 10, 2013; a lingerie shower given by Stacy Hadzijahic, Melissa Lewis and Jenny Coley Sasser Nov. 15, 2013, at the home of Jenny Coley Sasser; a Christmas shower given by family of the bride at the home of Ruth Carter Nov. 17, 2013; a monogram shower given by co-workers of the bride at Lenoir Memorial Hospital Nov. 19, 2013; a bridesmaids' brunch hosted by Peggy Coley, Sue Davis, Nikki Ennis and Rebekah Nassef at Walnut Creek Country Club Nov. 30, 2013 during which time the bride presented her bridal party with gifts; and a luncheon provided for the bridal party the day of the wedding by Ruth Carter, Stacy Hadzijahic, Ann Kelly, Melissa Lewis, Ashley Stevens and Brooke Whitfield.
