Tomlinson-Wood
Tammy Annette Wood of Pikeville and Timothy Hunter Tomlinson exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony May 14 at 3 p.m. at Davis Grove Church in Snow Hill, with the Rev. Steven Gay officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Janice Pearl Barbour and the late John Bain Wood of Benson and the granddaughter of Mary Pearl Johnson and the late James Milton Johnson of Benson.
The groom is the son of Shelby Tomlinson and the late Donnie Tomlinson of Wilson
The bride was escorted and given in marriage by David W. Epps, friend of groom.
She wore a long strapless white satin gown.
Her headpiece was a mid-length white veil edged with white satin flowers.
The bride carried a bouquet of purple and white flowers.
Tabatha Williams was her mother’s maid of honor.
David Epps was best man.
McKayla Mooring was flower girl.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of David and Yvette Epps.
After their wedding trip to Carolina Beach, the couple will reside in Pikeville.
