Rouse - Kincaid
Mary Kathryn Kincaid of Raleigh and Charles Clinton Rouse Jr. of Raleigh exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony today at Ann Street United Methodist Church in Beaufort, with Chris Cockerham officiating, assisted by the Rev. Anne Sims.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Lee Kincaid Jr. of Statesville and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Jenkins of Cary and the granddaughter of the late Thomas Lee Kincaid and Mary Tallulah Kincaid of Statesville and the late William Harold Warner and Pensy Stewart Warner of Thomasville.
She graduated from Apex High School in 2005 and North Carolina State University in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing. She was a Cary debutante in 2004 and a Terpsichorean debutante in 2006. She is employed as marketing director at Chick-Fil-A.
The groom is the son of Charles Clinton Rouse and Hannah Wilkins Rouse of Goldsboro, the grandson of Ray Norman Rouse Jr. of North Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Hortense Liles Rouse, Dr. Kenneth Worth Wilkins and Betty Snider Wilkins of Goldsboro and the stepgrandson of Becky Lee Rouse.
He graduated from Eastern Wayne High School in 2006 and North Carolina State University in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance. He is employed as staff associate at Raleigh Young Life.
The bride wore an ivory silk taffeta strapless ball-gown with draped bodice and side bow.
Her headpiece was a cathedral-length veil with a satin ivory trim.
The bride carried a bouquet of white peonies.
Leigh Kellerman was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Betty Brandt Rouse, Teresa Rouse and Eva Rouse, sisters of the groom.
Charlie Rouse was the best man.
Groomsmen were Thom Kincaid and Stewart Kincaid, brothers of the bride; Riley Wilkins, cousin of the groom; and Will Collins, friend of the groom.
Ushers were Wes Atkinson, Jordan King, Alex Paschal, Andy Smith and Wes Suggs.
Carter Elizabeth Kincaid, niece of the bride, was flower girl
Allison Bernauer directed the wedding. Presiding at the register and distributing programs were Emma Wilkins, cousin of the groom, and Toby and Luke Young.
A program of wedding music was provided by Candice Davis, pianist; Allison Bost, vocalist; Darla Vick, violinist; and Justin Hepler mandolinist.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents and stepparents hosted a reception at Pivers Island.
After their wedding trip to, the couple will reside in Raleigh.
Events held before the wedding included showers hosted by Raleigh friends and Young Life families a kitchen shower and wedding day brunch hosted by Goldsboro friends; and a bridesmaids’ luncheon hosted by the bride’s mother and sister-in-law.
The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Country Club at Pine Knoll Shores, followed by a dance hosted by the groom’s family.
