Brodhead - Gautier
SNOW HILL — Bethanie Ann Gautier of Snow Hill and David Kelly Brodhead of Snow Hill exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 7 at 1 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church, with Dean Jackson officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Harry Gautier of Albertson and Betty Shingleton of Snow Hill, the stepdaughter of Donnie Shingleton and the granddaughter of Edna Williams and the late Luby Randolph Williams of Snow Hill.
She graduated from Greene Central High School in 1995 and Lenoir Community College in 2008 with an associate degree in nursing. She attended Wayne Community College. She is employed as a registered nurse at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
The groom is the son of David Brodhead of Snow Hill and Becky Holland of Kinston, the stepson of George Holland and the grandson of the late Becky Walston of Farmville.
He graduated from Greene Central High School in 2000 and attended Wayne Community College. He is employed as an electrician at Smith Electrica.
The bride was escorted by her uncle, Randy Williams, and given in marriage by her family.
She wore a white strapless A line gown accented with silver embroidery with a chapel train.
Her headpiece was an elbow-length veil.
The bride carried a bouquet of hot pink roses.
Lisa Gentile was matron of honor.
David Brodhead was his son’s best man.
Dawn Murphy directed the wedding.
Special helpers were Katlynn Gautier and Taylar Keel, nieces of the couple.
A program of wedding music was provided by Beth Head, pianist and vocalist.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church fellowship hall.
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple reside in Snow Hill.
Events held before the wedding included a pig picking June 21 at Free Gospel Church hosted by the couple’s parents and an engagement party May 30 hosted by Dawn Murphy, sister of the groom.
