Herring - Tuttle
LAS VEGAS, Nev. — Melissa Diane Tuttle and Robert Chad Herring exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Aug. 19 at 6 p.m.
The bride is the daughter of Shirley Akins of Mebane and Tony Akins of Archdale and the granddaughter of Jeanette Akins and the late Gene Akins of Ramseur and the late Lucille Duffey and the late Jesse Hicks of Mebane.
She is a 2003 graduate of Campbell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. She is employed as a charter sales representative at Segrave Aviation in Kinston’s Global Transpark.
The groom is the son of Prentice and Jackie Herring of Mount Olive and the grandson of the late Bill and Eva Tillman and the late Leland and Olivia Herring of Mount Olive.
He graduated from East Carolina University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management. He is employed at Herring Pork Producers and H-3 Grading and Excavating.
After a wedding trip to Las Vegas, the couple reside in Mount Olive.
A floating reception will be held Oct. 13 at the home of Nick and Sandra Lee.
