Williamson - Fontine
Dawn Fontine and Jeremy Williamson exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony July 7 at 3 p.m. at Oak Ridge Church of God of Prophecy, with Pastor Lutrell Spell officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Thomas and Doriene Fontine of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Mildred Shaffer and the late Albert Shaffer of Florida and the late Dominick and Helen Fontine of Pennsylvania.
The groom is the son of Randy and Iris Williamson of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late Norman Williamson of Seven Springs, the late Margaret Williamson of Mount Olive and the late Woodrow and Grace Ballree of Goldsboro.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a strapless pearl-embellished corset gown with a chapel-length train.
Her headpiece was a Swarovski crystal and pearl tiara attached to a two-tiered veil adorned with sequins.
The bride carried a bouquet of white calla lilies with purple and white roses.
Amey Rodriquez was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Joy Sutton, Jennifer Fontine and Mandy Lyons.
Randy Williamson was his son’s best man.
Groomsmen were Kevin Jordan, Chris Sutton and Chris Langston.
Ushers were Brian Fontine and Greg Fontine, brothers of the bride.
Marcia Jones directed the wedding.
A program of wedding music was provided by Thomas Wiley.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church fellowship hall.
After a wedding trip to Charleston, S.C., the couple reside in LaGrange.
Events held before the wedding included a bridal shower June 23 at the church.
The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner July 6 at Oak Ridge Church.
