Stevens - Quinn
Leslie Ann Quinn of Goldsboro and Adam Joseph Stevens exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony July 29 at 2:15 p.m., with the Rev. Tim Grimsley officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Thomas Anthony Quinn of Pink Hill and Janet Pittman Quinn of Goldsboro, the stepdaughter of Terry Quinn of Pink Hill, the granddaughter of Thomas Harold and Inez Quinn of Pink Hill and Emma Lee and the late William “Bill” Pittman of Goldsboro and the great-granddaughter of Maude Gurley of Goldsboro and Beulah Quinn of Pink Hill.
She is a 2003 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School. She is employed as team lead at Target Corp.
The groom is the son of Kirby Iredelle and Carolyn Cabana Stevens of Grantham and the grandson of the late Lewis M. and Helen T. Stevens of Grantham and Madeleine M. Cabana and the late Alfred O. Cabana of Cleveland, Ga.
He graduated from Southern Wayne High School in 1998. He is employed at Precision Plumbing.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a white A-line taffeta gown with a fitted bodice adorned with pearl lace, beaded spaghetti straps and a floor-length train.
She carried a bouquet consisting of cascading yellow and white roses.
Clayton Quinn served as his sister’s only attendant.
Kirby I. Stevens was his son’s best man.
Melissa Marie Cox and Monica Grace Cox, nieces of the groom, were flower girls. Matthew Scott Cox, nephew of the groom, was ringbearer.
Presiding at the register was Dawn Stevens Cox, sister of the groom. Melissa Cox and Monica Cox distributed bubbles and thank-you scrolls.
A program of traditional wedding music was provided.
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple reside in Goldsboro.
Following the ceremony, a dinner reception was held at the Cracker Barrel of Lumberton.
Events held before the wedding included a bridal luncheon July 28 at Logan’s Restaurant hosted by Dawn Cox and Carolyn Stevens and a bridal shower July 23 at the home of the bride’s father hosted by the family of the bride.
