Thompson-OQuinn
EASTON, Md. — Erica Angela OQuinn and David Thompson of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony July 10 at 4 p.m. at the Maryland waterfront.
The bride is the daughter of Debrah Mariah Shingleton and the late Edgar OQuinn of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Penelope Geist and the late Marvin Fields of Goldsboro and Ellen OQuinn and the late Earl OQuinn of Seven Springs.
The groom is the son of De Hammontree of St. Michaels, Md., and Tony Thompson of Elfrida, Ariz., and the grandson of John and Mary Shaughnessy of Easton, Md., and the late Holgar and Alta Thompson of Sierra Vista, Ariz.
He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in business and a Master of Arts degree in instructional design. He is retired from the Air Force. He is employed with Andy’s Cheesesteaks and Cheeseburgers.
The bride was ecorted by Derwood OQuinn.
She wore an Hawaiian wedding dress.
Her hair was accented with an hibiscus flower.
Michelle Rodenburg was maid of honor. McKayla Raynor was the bridesmaid.
Chris Thompson was best man.
Michelle Rodenburg directed the wedding.
Mary Lapides and Mary Shaughnessy were special helpers.
Following the ceremony, an Hawaiian-style waterfront reception was held.
After a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple reside in Goldsboro.
