Bergmark - Angelo
Hillary Frances Angelo of Durham became the wife of Joseph Edward Bergmark of Durham June 10 at 2 p.m.
The Rev. Thomas P. Norris officiated at the double-ring ceremony at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church.
Victor Miles and Anne Murphy Angelo of Goldsboro are parents of the bride.
She is the granddaughter of Virginia Murphy and the late Arby Murphy of Clarksdale, Miss., and Eugenia Angelo and the late Lawrence Angelo of Edwards, Miss.
Parents of the groom are Edward Louis and Theresa O’Neill Bergmark of Goldsboro.
He is the grandson of Thomas and Kathleen O’Neill of Charlotte and Edward and Marie Louse Bergmark of Berlin, Md.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a candlelight A-line satin gown with an off-the-shoulder scoop neckline and a Basque waistline. The fitted bodice was embroidered with metallic thread and hand-beaded with bugle beads. It had a chapel train.
Jenny Angelo was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Erin Bain, Sheena Garitta, Erin Noel and Jean-Marie Catlett.
Rob Hile was best man. Groomsmen were David Bergmark, Joseph Collins, Dave Aubrey and Christopher Spohr.
John Stutts directed the wedding. Presiding at the register and distributing programs was Danielle St. Clair.
Theresa Cooper was the reader. Carole Sears was liturgical coordinator.
A program of wedding music was provided by Philip Eubanks, organist, and John Stutts, vocalist.
After a wedding trip to the North Carolina mountains, the couple is residing in Durham.
The bride is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
The groom graduated from North Carolina State University.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Walnut Creek Country Club.
Carrie Ring served the wedding cake. Lucy and Lindsey Stutts poured punch. Danielle St. Clair served the groom’s cake.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Billie’s.
Erin Bain and Jenny Angelo held a Pampered Chef shower.
