Anderson - Budd
RALEIGH — Tiffany Markay Budd of Raleigh became the bride of Jamie Lee Anderson of Raleigh April 23 at 2 p.m.
Chaplain David Kelley officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Brier Creek Country Club.
Parents of the bride are Joyce R. Budd of Prince George, Va., and E. Roy Budd of Muncie, Ind., and the stepdaughter of Jo Ann Gora of Muncie. She is the granddaughter of Margaret B. Robertson and the late H. Robbie Robertson of Hardy, Va., and the late E. Lester and Kathryn J. Budd of Chester, Va.
The groom is the son of Charles N. and Angela L. Anderson of Dudley. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Williams of Bailey and the late W.N. “Billy” and Mittie May Anderson of Dudley.
The bride was given in marriage and escorted by her parents.
Jenny Miles of Roanoke, Va., and Stephanie Jamison of Richmond, Va., friends of the bride, were matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Walker of Danville, Va., and Anne Davidson of Fredricksburg, Va., friends of the bride.
Tracy Anderson of Seven Springs, brother of the groom, and Michael Fortson of Raleigh, friend of the groom, were best men. Ushers were Matthew Carlisle of Raleigh and Andres Echevarria of Belmont, friends of the groom. Groomsmen were Bobby Anderson of Raleigh, cousin of the groom, and Julian Fritz of Raleigh, friend of the groom.
Joy Edwards directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Tabitha Robertson. Courtney Kearney and Amy Nisbett distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Ashley Harris, pianist, and Whitney Robertson, vocalist.
After a wedding trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple is residing in Raleigh.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in public relations. She is employed as project coordinator with Universal Meeting Management of Raleigh.
The groom graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1999 with a degree in economics. He is employed as corporate auditor with the State Employees Credit Union of Raleigh.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Brier Creek country Club ballroom.
On April 22, a pig picking rehearsal dinner was held at the state fairgrounds.
