Brewington - Jones
Deborah Jones and James Brewington pledged their vows Saturday, Feb. 4, at noon.
The Rev. Barbara Stackhouse officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of the late Veronica Jones and Robert N. Jones of Oxford.
Parents of the groom are Hosea and Geraldine Gibbs of Goldsboro and James Stackhouse of North, Penn.
Given in marriage and escorted by her father, the bride wore a formal gown of white satin with a Sabrina neckline and a V-back. Schiffli lace embellished with pearls and iridescents adored the fitted bodice and long tapered sleeves. The ballgown skirt was edged with Schiffli lace and flowed into a semi-cathedral train accented with beaded lace motifs.
For her headpiece, she chose a halo of pearls and iridescents attached to a pouf and veil of silk illusion. She carried a white and blue bouquet with pearls.
Geraldine Gibbs of Goldsboro was maid of honor. Anna Whitfield was the bridesmaid.
Hosea Gibbs was best man. Tavorous Lanier was the groomsman.
The couple took a wedding trip to Nassau, Bahamas.
