Trippe - Haynes
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Robin Lynn Haynes of Lynn, Mass., and Brian Thomas Trippe of Lynn were united in marriage Saturday, Oct. 15, at 4 p.m.
The Rev. Jory Agate officiated at the double-ring ceremony at First Baptist Church.
Cliff and Corinne Haynes of Goldsboro are parents of the bride.
The groom is the son of Turner Trippe of Davidsonville, Md., and Debbie Trippe of Orlando, Fla.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless white A-line organza gown with beading and embroidery on the bodice and train.
For her headpiece, she chose a fingertip veil. She carred a bouquet of white calla lilies and pale green orchids.
Christy Morton, friend of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Deborah Kiger, Catherine Luce and Tara DeSilva, friends of the bride.
Kevin Trippe was his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Paul Trippe, brother of the groom, and Michael Okenquist and Scott Strasser, friends of the groom. Ushers were Cliff Haynes Jr. and Mark Haynes, brothers of the bride, and Kyle Haynes, brother of the bride, and Kyle Haynes, nephew of the bride.
Allyson Haynes, neice of the bride, was the junior bridesmaid.
Marcy Belliveau directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Kathi Haynes, sister-in-law of the bride. Virginia Haynes, sister-in-law of the bride, distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Ryan Darnall, pianist and organist, and Tracy McLaughlin, oboist.
The couple will take a wedding trip later.
The bride is a graduate of North Carolina State University and Wake Forest University with a doctorate. She is employed as a reasearcher for Harvard University and at the Children’s Hospital of Boston.
The goom graduated from Villanova University and Wake University with a master’s degree.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the State Room of Boston.
Christy Morton gave a bridal breakfast Oct. 15 at Henritteas Table of Cam-bridge.
Tara DeSilva held a shower Sept. 10 in Boston.
On Aug. 28, Sandi Rose, Kriss Teal and Barbara James held a bridal shower at the Teal home.
The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at Tia’s on the Waterfront.
