Blackman - Toler
DUDLEY — Teresa Trecinda Toler and Stephen Craig Blackman were wed June 18 at 3 p.m.
The Rev. Dave Fishman officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Love Memorial Church.
The bride is the daughter of Dixie Pearce Toler and the late Cedric Lee Toler of Goldsboro. She is the granddaughter of the late Ezra and Ada Pearce and the late Lloyd and Gatsy Toler.
Parents of the groom are Shirley Barnes Blackman and the late William Bertus Blackman of Dudley. He is the grandson of the late Floyd and Annie Mae Barnes and the late Mack and Beulah Blackman.
Given in marriage by her family and escorted by her son, David Chadwick Toler, the bride wore a long sleeve fitted bodice and satin cathedral train adorned with lace and pearls.
For her headpiece, she chose a tiara of crystals and pearls with a waist-length veil. She carried a bouquet of white flowers with purple and yellow flower accents.
Amy Leigh Grady and Phyllis Hairr Toler were matrons of honor.
Sherrill Dean Blackman and Terence Tracey Toler were best men. Ushers were Troy O’Dell Grady, Wesley Dean Toler and Bradley Wayne Toler.
Reagan Scout Anderson was the junior bridesmaid.
Kyleigh Jane Grady was flower girl. Adam O’Dell Grady and William Dallas Blackman were ring bearers.
Connie Anderson directed the wedding. Presiding at the register and distributing programs were Heather Smith, Lauren Giddons and Brittney Parker.
A program of wedding music was provided by Lisa Jones, vocalist, and Don Hairr and Julia Hairr.
After a wedding trip to the Florida Keys, the couple is residing in Goldsboro.
The bride is employed as a registered nurse at the Brian Center.
The groom is employed as a truck driver with Case Farms.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church fellowship hall.
A rehearsal dinner was held June 17 in the church fellowship hall. The couple chose this time to present gifts to their attendants.
On June 5, the groom’s mother held a lingerie shower at her home.
The groom’s family held a shower May 15 at Maple Grove Church.
On May 14, the bride’s family held a cookout at Providence United Methodist Church.
Faith Sunday school class held a shower May 1 at Love Memorial Church.
