Dawley-Strickling
WASHINGTON — Amy Strickling of Washington and Andy Dawley of Washington pledged their promises April 28 at 4:30 p.m.
Cleric Russell Dawley, father of the groom, officiated at the boardwalk ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Larry and Linda Strickling of Columbus, Miss., and Chris and Beth Jurczyk of Phenix, Ala.
Russell Dawley and Beth Dawley of Goldsboro are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of Harold Vaughn and the late Julia Vaughn of Brandywine, Md., and the late Raymond Dawley and Sylvia Dawley of Columbus, Ohio.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father.
She carried hand-tied pink lilies.
Christiana Risban was matron of honor.
J.J. Risban was best man.
Jade Heath was flower girl.
The couple is residing in Washington.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Eastern Wayne High School. She attended Wayne Community College. She is employed at the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
The groom graduated from Eastern Wayne High School in 2002 and Wayne Community College’s basic law enforcement training course. He is employed as a police officer with Washington Police Department.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Harbor Street Grill.
A rehearsal dinner was held at Harbor Street Grill.
